Raise The Gong is managed by a group of extremely motviated and
dedicated volunteers, who all wrok hard around their own full time
work and family commitments to ensure the success of Raise The Gong.
The Board, or Management Committee, consists of eight voluteer

- 100% volunteer run and managed by a group of eight local volunteers
- A Deductible Gift Recipient - donations over $2 are tax-deductible
- Committed to promoting the health and well-being of local women
- Committed to ensuring all funds stay local in the Illawarra region
How did Raise The Gong begin?
Raise The Gong was founded in 2006 by a group of local women, each whom had a personal experience with a parent with cancer, some had lost a parent to cancer in the previous few years. These women wanted to make a difference in the local community and support others who were facing similar challenges in their lives...and so Raise The Gong was born!
We remain committed to working within our own community, particularly for those suffering from cancer. We remain volunteer run, and are all very proud of the achievements of our little organisation - looking forward to more successes in the future!
