Meetings are held fortnightly in Wollongong and Berkeley, where we plan all our health campaigns and events. We're flexible with work, family and study commitments, and are seeking an enthusiastic and committed person to join our team!

Board Members

The board of Raise The Gong, or Management Committee, is made up of the following volunteers:

Chelsea Cappetta Alicia Wesley Lyn Pantalone
Chelsea holds a BSc Psychology degree with Honours, and Masters in IT and Communications in Education. She has extensive experience in project management, event coordination and marketing. Chelsea is a founding member of Raise The Gong Inc., and has been President of the organisation since 2006. Alicia has recently returned to the board after leaving us in 2009 to move to Western Australia. She has previously held positions of Vice President, Treasurer and Executive Board Member on the management committee.  Alicia has a strong administrative and IT background, and welcomed her first baby, Andy, into the world in July 2011. Lyn joined the board in April 2010. Lyn holds a Bachelor of Commerce, is a Certified Practising Accountant and brings a strong finance background to the Raise The Gong board.

Lauren Ognenovski Ros McIntyre Sarah Zaremba
Lauren joined Raise The Gong in May 2011. She is currently studying Population Health at the University of Wollongong and is a personal assistant to a financial planner.  Lauren has been our Membership Services Officer and an Executive Board Member before becoming Secretary this year.   Sarah joined the board in July 2011, she is currently completing a Diploma of Community Services at TAFE after completing her Certificate 4 last year. Sarah has recently been completing her work placement at Kiama Youth Centre.
