Raise The Gong are holding Self-Defence Classes for anyone interested in attending. They will be held for 4 weeks, each Thursday starting 8th May. Please click here for more information. Classes are trained by an instructor with over 20 years experience in self-defence training, and will be held at Woonona. We welcome any expressions of interest to info@raisethegong.org.au—please note that girls are also welcome to attend. |

Brainiacs, trivia buffs and those who love fun—save the date! Friday 25th July is our annual Trivia Night for Womens Cancer Awareness. This years focus is on Ovarian Cancer. The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Raise The Gong Inc. was held on Tuesday 29th April—a big thank-you to those members who attended in person!! READ OUR ANNUAL REPORT HERE!
The AGM is an opportunity for members to have their say about the future directions and plans of Raise The Gong Inc. It is also the time of year where all management committee positions are re-allocated, and voted on if necessary.

We would like to welcome the only new board member on the 2007/08 panel, Ms. Melanie Butler. Melanie has been a member of Raise The Gong since 2006 and brings a wealth of administrative knowledge to our table. Melanie also has a great creative streak and a wonderful imagination so we are looking forward to all the new ideas she will be able to bring to the committee.
