Each year the average Australian household contributes 13 tonnes of greenhouse gas to the atmosphere - enough to fill more than 700 balloons a day. Each household also draws an average of 292,000 litres of water a year. That's enough for around 12 baths a day.

Most Australians are looking for ways to help protect our environment from the impacts of climate change and reap the savings that come from using less energy and water around the home.

What are Home Sustainability Assessments?

These are FREE comprehensive environmental assessments of your own home, showing you how to reduce your energy costs and carbon footprint. For a limited time, you can take advantage of these FREE assessments - helping the environment, your pocket, and Raise The Gong!!

At no cost to you, a qualified assessor will visit your home and advise you on the best actions to reduce your energy and water use, increase the comfort of your home, and reduce environmental pollution.

The assessments, valued at over $250, recommend tailored energy and water saving options for you - ranging from simple actions like switching to energy efficient lights and replacing shower heads, to large scale changes like installing rainwater tanks or solar panels.

The Australian Government is providing these assessments, to create greener homes - ultimately helping close to one-million Australian households save energy and water, and reduce greenhouse emissions.

For every FREE Home Sustainability Assessment booked in June 2010, through Green Solutions, up to $10.00 will be donated to Raise The Gong!*

*Bookings must be made in June, however appointments may occur after this time. $5.00 will be donated to Raise The Gong on completion of each home assessment, or $10 per assessment if the target of 50 assessments is reached. Only one free assessment will be available per applicant at given address.
